LAST WEEK (in the MTC. Sorry to get your hopes up Mom.)

These kids made such good friends in the MTC.

Well folks, it's our last week at the MTC and then we go to the great nation of DENMARK! We are all so excited for a couple of reasons... 1. We finally can eat food that isn't MTC food! Hallelujah. 2. We have all hit the point where our Danish has flatlined a little, so hopefully we can go into culture shock and actually (maybe) improve! Wahoo!
It's been an interesting week here. Everyone has been getting a little sick but we are recovering. I got the cold RIP. :( Also have some other news... I jammed my finger playing volleyball like 2 or 3 weeks ago and I decided that I should get it checked yesterday because it's still swollen... Turns out I have had a broken pinkie for the last 2-ish weeks in two places and I had no idea, hahaha. I'm okay though and shouldn't have to stay any extra time here. I had a huge cast that was wayyyy too overkill for my taste, but now I just have my fingers taped together. Everything should be fine.
He really did NOT like this huge soft cast. One of his friends signed it.
Haha!

This last week we started to have Skype TRCs where we teach a lesson to a member in Danish. It was cool but a little harder than usual. We survived. Feeling the spirit was great!!

Gary E Stevenson came to the MTC on Tuesday! He gave a great message on how to better use our tools and be better missionaries. He has a powerful spirit about him. You could feel his love and spirit when he walked in. It is so nice to have 2 apostles come and speak to us. The church is so true!!
It's been weird being the old guys of the MTC, but officially we are the next transfer out! (WAHOO) Said goodbye to lots of new friends the last couple of days. Been lots of fun, but it's sad to leave.
Overall a great week! Time flies!! Already started packing!!
Love you all!!

10 Dayyyyyys

Fiesta Package (thanks Mom!)
What's up? It's ya boi Ældste Mod here coming at you live from the MTC. We have exactly 10 days until we leave for the great land of Denmark! Not much has happened this week... I guess that's the beauty that is the small campus of the MTC. We really don't have lots of new stuff happen every week.... Right now the MTC is just straight up a hospital... Everyone and their sister is sick... I avoided it up until like 2 days ago, but it's just a small cold so I'm still thriving.
We got to host again this week! I got 2 English-speaking stateside missionaries. One was going to Denver and the other to Saint Louis. It is oddly nostalgic to see the parking garage because that's the last place that I saw the fam but once again... Still thriving.

Tate with Elder Wilford (one of his best friends from home)
Time flies here and I honestly can't tell when one day ends and another begins. I don't even feel like we went to San Francisco last week hahaha. That feels like a strange dream honestly. It's crazy to think that I got to the MTC almost a whole month ago... That's a weird thought. Another weird thought is that the English speakers that got here a week or 2 after us left this week! We are all feeling kinda ripped off because they didn't even stay that long. Welcoming missionaries and sending them off is weird. But the good news is that all the people that came in this week will be leaving after we do! We are on the home stretch to Denmark!

Our Danish is good but we got (yet another) new teacher on Tuesday.... That brings the total to 11 teachers... But he seems so cool because he is a native Dane and he speaks sooooo freaking fast! It's hard to understand but we will totally get it at some point. I think it will help us a lot in the long run, but I am gaining a testimony of context! lol... thriving. Still seeing lots of my friends and it's so fun! I've seen Elder Wilford and a few others everywhere!! It's a great time! Love you all! Send me pictures of us before the Mission if you have any!
