Glædelig Jul!

Almost all of the MTC group reunited at Mission
Conference. They're just missing Ældste Moore.

Heyyyo what's good!?

It's ya Boi Ældste Mod back at it again from the frozen North!

There is not a ton of eventful stuff to talk about this week but I'll do my best! Let's start off the week with mission conference! I got to see all of my homies in the mission! We had a great time and I got to watch a movie with the whole mission (the live action Lion King). It was sooo good and we had a good time unwrapping presents and playing games, not to mention we ate some way good Danish food so that was an absolute W! Danes do Christmas so well when it comes to food at least... It was sad to say bye to everyone again but we had a lot of fun together.

Then I went on splits with my guy Ældste Jensen! I got to see a the second biggest city in Denmark called Århus. It is a way cool place and we taught a lesson with an uninterested Greenlandic man. He was a funny bro. We have no idea why he was meeting with us. It was for sure a straight fire Danish lesson. The Spirit was strong and guided us, but he was not having it. We also got to see Århus and all the Christmas lights! It was so pretty and that was a definite highlight! I got a massive kebab that was sooo good! I loved it! Food this week was good. It was a good happy week overall!

I'm thriving in Randers! Love you all! Shout out to my sister Paige for getting home from her mission this week!

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Love y'all!

Runners in Randers!

Hey everyone! Week one down in Randers! Let's get started! I don't have a ton of time.

This week was kind of a slow adjustment period. It was still pretty good though! My companion Ældste Millett and I have been having some fun and living it up!  We had a decent bit of service this week helping out some less actives. (Pic of a moved couch down below.) It was nice and she needed some help. We were happy to help! We met a couple of the branch members and ate with them and that was way good. We also have had a lesson and taught the restoration with some people that are way positive so that was awesome!

We had another Christmas party this week! We had a bunch of Christmas food and got sent home with like 50 Æbleskiver so we were super psyched. Then the bro who gave us them said he needed the Tupperware back on Sunday... It was Friday night.... We had to wolf those down. Hahaha soo good though.

Now for the email title... We ran a 5k on Saturday morning... It was 35 degrees and 95 percent humidity but it was way fun and I actually got way hot. We helped out some members and got some better relations with some non-members. Total win. The time was like 38 minutes so I'll try to improve next week. It was fun!

Also a quick spiritual note: read the talk "But If Not" by Dennis E. Simmons. It helped me out a lot with faith this week. I needed it!

Have a great week!

Done with training and transferred

Transferring to Randers by train.

Hey hey! Ya boy/elder back at it again.

This week has been crazy but at the same time not a whole lot has happened, so sorry if this email is a little bland, but like it's Denmark so it's still way cool!

Teaching this week was good! We continued our teaching of a family that we kinda thought we were gonna get dropped by. This time we whipped out the plan of salvation and they loved it! I mean who doesn't love it?! It's the best plan literally ever. I was able to help clarify how God loved us so much he did all of this for us. And they thought we were gonna drop some fiery hell. We said nah and continued teaching about happiness. Good stuff.

We knocked a good bit this week but like it was nbd. We also got insulted a ton in Danish so my vocab is expanding for sure. Hahaha! Gotta love it. We also had a Catholic woman try to convert us. It was interesting but fun. She read some Bible verses with us and prayed with us so I guess that's a W.

Members that I love.
Now for the news! I got transferred to Randers! It's on the other side of the country where the Danish is way different and deeper and yeah, so we are in for a ride. I rode a train for like 3 hours then hopped trains and rode for another 40 minutes. My new comp's name is Ældste Millett from Provo. He's cool I'm sure I'll send pics next week. It was really hard to say goodbye to the members and other missionaries in Copenhagen though. I'll include pics!

Love y'all! Have a good week!

Cool place we found on Amager
Elders Cook, Nielson and Modersitzki

Tate will definitely miss Ældste Cook. They've been
near each other since their first day in the MTC.
