No stress.

Haircut Mod

And we are back again! Gotta love Mondays! This week was really fast and I don't really remember what happened so I will give it my best shot.

We were out contacting and found a man named Anders. I decided to talk to him because he was looking at all the birds out over the river. There were huge flocks and he loved them! I had this convo with him about birds and how he loves nature and how he was a guide back in the day for a solid 10 minutes. He wasn't interested in our message but I got to see God's hand that gave me the message of "he needs a friend, someone to talk to." Anders and I are now friends and I won't forget him. I don't know why but he was the first person that day to be nice to us and it was one of the first times I saw the gift of tongues work completely.

We had another lesson with Shelly and Niels and we had planned a baptismal invitation but the second the lesson started we knew that we shouldn't do that. It was helpful to see that guidance in our lesson. I also had the opportunity to give Shelly a blessing of comfort for her heart. I have never been so guided in word and thought before. She ended up having a little mini vision of angels and all sorts of awesome things. She turned to me and said, "The Lord used you to help me, thank you." She was crying and I was nearly crying and it was so awesome. It was one of the best experiences of my mission so far. I was so scared to give that blessing. I had given only one blessing before that and I was terrified. God really does guide us and comfort us. He uses us to bless others and I am so grateful for that opportunity to help others come back to Him!

Splits with ZL Merrill
We also went on ZL splits after district meeting and the words "no stress" came to my mind and out of my mouth a lot. There is no need to stress! It's the Lord's work! He has got this. We just need to open our mouths and make that effort to be better every day. Even if it is just a small goal of smiling once that day! God's team can't lose! No stress!

Nothing else really happened this week so thanks for reading!

a mannequin in Copenhagen that looks just like Tate!
I had to post this picture too. The likeness is crazy!

It's all downhill from here.

What is up everybody? It is ya Boi Ældste Modersitzki coming at ya with another email from Randers!

It's been a short week and not a lot of new stuff has happened, soooo idk where to really start. I don't have any really funny stories besides people saying no to us in funny ways. We talked to a bro named Flemming about the Big Bang on the street for a while and that was fun. It really pushed my vocabulary. It also made me a little angry because he asked about where we come from and where we go... And what book could show us that, because the Bible doesn't do a ton ... So I started feeling really good and said we have a book that we can show you to find all these answers! I reach in my bag for the Book of Mormon and he hits me with the "No, I don't even want to know." I was just like bro c'mon. I legit asked, "You don't want answers to your questions?" and he said, "No, I'd rather not," and then explained more about the big bang. I was at a loss for words. Man!

I went on splits with my guy Ældste Fisher from Davis! He is a way sick bro and Randers is his old area so he was hyped to be back and walking the streets again! We had a lot of fun with each other for sure!

This week I was struggling with a couple of questions about myself and my mission. I was reading the talk "Power to Overcome the Adversary" and it quotes a talk by President Nelson called "Stand as a True Millennial." I never use the footnotes but for some reason that day I did. It gave me every answer that I needed. My testimony of God watching over us, the Spirit guiding our every little action, and that we have a living prophet here on earth was really strengthened.

I love this gospel! It really is so awesome!

Have a great week!

Glædelig Jul og Godt Nytår!

Hello everyone! Ya boy Mod back at her again here to talk about how Denmark goes hard for New Years and Christmas and everything!

We had a super sick Christmas week! Denmark has 3 days of Christmas starting from the 24th to the 26th. We had eating appointments from the 22nd to the 26th so you could say that I ate well! We ate so much freaking food that really tasted good! I was super psyched and ate wayyyy too much. New Year's resolution: work out. hahaha!

On the 23rd we ate just straight up rice pudding and cinnamon sugar. It was super good and we stuffed ourselves. It was so awesome.

Then the next day we went to the local rain forest/ zoo and it was sick to see all the animals just chilling. We were just walking around in all of them! I got to feed a bat too, by hand! So sick! Then we hit a Danish Peoples church and went to a special church service. It was the special Christmas service that people actually go to. The church was popping. The most that they get all year! The music was good, but the church just didn't have the spirit in it. We chilling though. Then we danced around the Christmas tree that had lit candles and sang some Danish Christmas songs. It was AWESOME. We opened some presents and all that too! Way good time for sure!

Then we had Christmas with my fav member Rita and she had us over to eat more traditional Danish food so that was cool. Just a fun night! We had some good times!

On the 26th and had some steaks with a member. That was a lot of fun. He is a dope bro. We had a good time and just chilled.

On NYE we had another eating appointment and we got to watch the Queen of Denmark's speech for the New year and I understood a lot of it!

Fireworks happened for like 3 days and on NYE there was like 7 straight hours of fireworks! It was absolutely crazy. The only break was the Queen's speech for like 20 minutes and then it restarted. Good times!

Love y'all!
