Zone Conf!

Tate in a cool old church in Randers that they found.

Heyyyyoooo what's good!? Ya boy, Mod, back at it again!

This week has gone by so fast! I can't believe that it is already P-day. This week has been busy and I have had a lot of fun. I forgot to toss this in my last 2 emails but I had the opportunity to give a talk in sacrament meeting in straight Danish for about 8 minutes and that went pretty well! I was happy about it. It was a good experience and the members seemed to like it.

Let's start off the week with last Tuesday. I have been looking for a basketball court and a basketball for the last 7 weeks here and I finally found an outdoor court! I bought an outdoor ball immediately. The court is trash and so is the basket but it keeps me sane. I nearly slipped and died a couple of times because it was pouring rain and the grass was so slippery, but it was awesome! I was terrible so I guess I've gotta practice a little more! Then we had Zone Conference and I got to see a bunch of missionaries that I really like! It was fun to see Cook and Jensen together again. We had a great time with the whole Århus zone. (It is over half the country.) I loved seeing everyone again! Only missing out on seeing Jaursch and Moore from the MTC group! President gave us some really good training on pushing forward, keeping our foot on the gas, and winning every door with a smile and love. It was refreshing! He also talked about the missionary power of Wilford Woodruff. He was incredible. He mentioned how to we need to follow the spirit and look for the promptings of the spirit! I was way hyped afterward and ready to go to work! We headed back to Randers with the Skive Elders and grabbed some good food over here in Randers. They dipped shortly after that. It is always fun to see other elders!

We had a lesson this week with our investigators Shelly and Niels! We had a fire lesson on faith, prayer, the Holy Ghost and the truthfulness of the Book Mormon. It was incredible and they really felt the spirit. I was able to testify to them and I felt so happy. It was just as much for me as it was for them! The spirit was able to witness to them about prayer as well! Watching their faces light up made my week! I love those lessons. They also invited us to lunch this week and I am rather excited!

One of our goals as a companionship is to visit and reactivate some of the 100-ish inactive members that we have. It has been cool to see but also has shown me that even members don't want to talk to us.... It makes me sad sometimes because I know how much happiness they used to find in the gospel, but it is totally okay! Just gotta keep looking for the one that is ready to come back!

I also bought some knitting stuff this week, probably gonna make a beanie... I guess we will see, hahah. I am excited!

Ældste Laurence
This last week Ældste Laurence and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice steak dinner. We went to this nice place called Jensens Bøfhus and we both got some way good steaks! I got a rib eye and he got a tenderloin! They were so good! Everyone in the restaurant was staring at us because of our white shirts and ties.. but I am used to that anyway. It was a good week this week!

Hope y'all have a good one and stay safe in the Utah weather!

Shout out to Rudy and Spida for making the All-Star team! Go Jazz! Also RIP Kobe. That dude was a legend and a big inspiration to me. His work ethic drove me to be better.

Love y'all!

Kolding! Cook! Århus!

Whatta week whatta week! Where to begin??

This week I had so much fun being on splits with my guy Ældste Merrill. He is the ZL over my zone and he is in my district. We have a lot of good times together! And whenever I go to Århus I get to see Ældste Jensen! We had a great time with both of our companionships and we snagged a bunch of stickers and made a sticker wall back in Randers! We were trying to make the Randers apartment look cool because it is a little rough looking, hahaha, so that was a lot of fun!

Ældste Laurence is district leader so I got to go to MLC down in Fredericia and that meant I got to go on splits with Ældste Cook! We got to drive out to this city called Kolding and that was a lot of fun. We ate at a place called Burger Shack and it was soooo good! I love a good burger! We met a crazy guy out there too! It was a lot of fun to have him talk to us. Ahhh man, I had a good time! I mostly just liked being back with Cook, I missed that guy!

Not much else happened! Ældste Laurence and I had a good time this week and are chilling! We are hoping we find some more friends this week!

Love y'all!

ÅRHUS STREET FOOD

This week was kinda quick and not much happened. Let's start at the beginning.

I had a good couple of days this week and had a lot of fun. We got to go out and visit a less-active with a member of our ward. We had a ton of fun and ended up having a good 30-minute conversation! We just got to know him and I think we got somewhere in the conversation. It was just way refreshing.

We also got to go to Århus for a district activity. We got some way good food from a place called Århus Street Foods. It is the coolest place and the best atmosphere that I have been in for a while. I got to go to this way good spot called Duck-it! I got a duck burger and some duck fries! It was incredibly good and I ate way too much. Then I went on splits with my guy Ældste Jensen. We got to walk along the coast of Århus and see the ocean and a way cool wakeboard park! I wanted to do it but decided it was too cold. We had a good time and talked a lot! I love that bro! We also got to help the Århus Elders move in with the ZL's in a brand new apartment. It was a very fun time lifting all the heavy stuff hahahah. I had a really good time. It is always a good time with Ældste Jensen!

Also some big news! I got a new companion! I said bye to Ældste Millett this morning and got my new companion Ældste Laurence from Bountiful! He is super sick and he just got out of exile in Skive. hahahah! Randers is still exile but I think he will like it. We are big chilling! We get along really well and we have some big(ish) plans!

Funny experience this week! We have a downstairs neighbor who really doesn't like the missionaries because the past missionaries here were loud. I thought to give her a note and some candy to apologize and to start to become friends. It was nice to think through it and problem solve it.

I ran another weekly 5k too. Not a ton else happened... hahahahaha.

Love you all and have a good week!
