WEEK 1---WAHOO!

The new tripanionship: Ældste Cook, Ældste Jaursch & Ældste Mod.

Week one here at the happiest place on earth! Getting dropped off was super hard but I had the opportunity to have THE Matt Wood be my host, so that made it a ton easier than it would have been. This week has been the slowest week of my life but that is great because I need as much time as possible to learn the celestial language of Danish. Whatta language. It's so odd in the fact that it doesn't have really any direct English translation and the addition of 3 new letters makes it rough. The other hard part is how we have had 8 teachers try to teach us. Yes EIGHT. Best part is that only like 2 or 3 of them even know Danish so you know that we are all pretty much self taught.

Some of the LP kids: Drew Shelton, Davis Child, Cole Willits and Tate.
I've seen tons of Lone Peakers here so shout out to the Peak! It's hard being away from home, but that for sure helps. The first Sunday here was a roller coaster! We started off the day by teaching missionaries that have been here for 6 or 7 weeks a lesson for 45 minutes. I guess the term "baptism by fire" is a good way to put it..... They said we did a good job though, so hopefully they didn't lie, hahah! My companions are Elder Jaursch from Saxony, Germany and Elder Cook from Fruit Heights, Utah! They are both super sick (in a good way)! We are already such good friends! Elder Cook had his birthday today so we threw him a party (from the package that his mom sent)... That night we went to the Character of Christ by Elder Bednar! That is such a good talk and I wish everyone had access to it! So inspiring and so spiritual! Mom sent me a package and gave Jaursch his first Krispy Kreme experience. He loved them! The spirit here is super strong and everyone in my district seems cool! My companionship is with Elder Jensen from North Logan, Utah and Elder Moore from Reno, Nevada, and one sister companionship, Sister Duckworth from Holladay, Utah and Sister Nielsen from Los Angeles. Overall a good week but frustrating with the language.... I'll get it soon hopefully!

Email me if you get a chance! I would love to hear from you! My P-day is Thursday and my email is tate.modersitzki@missionary.org

Love you all!!

When one of your best friends from high school is your host to go into the MTC!
We're so grateful for Matt Wood. He ran clear to the front of the line to be Tate's host.
The district.
Happy birthday Ældste Cook!

I guess that he was pretty excited about his first package. It even got a picture!
