Heyyyooo! It's your fav
Danish Elder back at it again!
Whatta week whatta week,
where to start.... Miracles are always a way good place to start, right? Right.
We went knocking in this place called Bellahoj, right on the border of our
area. We started on this huge apartment building at the very top thinking we
would work our way down. The first couple of people weren't there and then one
guy told us to leave and go find somewhere else. We laughed and said okay. The
next door we went to we decided to pray about because we hadn't prayed before
we started to knock. We knocked and only said we were from the church and this
lady said, "Okay. One second," tidied up her apartment and let us in
to teach her. She apparently had been taught before and we were able to teach
her the entire Restoration, pray with her, get her email and send her a spoken
Book of Mormon in Danish, with a challenge to read. It was incredible. We are
so grateful for her. It took up our whole night so we were happy about that!

| A church in downtown Copenhagen |
We didn't meet any absolute
crazies this week, but one guy thought we were going to mug him. What kind of
thieves look 18, have white shirts and ties on, and have our names on a name
tag? We laughed and then the next person we talked to said no thanks, and as we
were walking away called us crazy just for being religious and wanting to
spread happiness. We were just like okay hahaha have a good day. I think people
don't like us too much because they know we can actually help them, but that
means that they have to change and admit something is wrong in their lives.
Danes are not about all that! That's alright though!
Danish is getting easier and
easier. Now it's just the whole missionary part, hahahah!

| Best Halloween costume ever |
Halloween was way cool! I
loved seeing kids in costumes and all the candy prices soar sky high. We went
out with a member contacting and everyone was in a hurry. That is a problem
with holidays in every mission!
I read a cool scripture this
week: Alma 7:23: And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive
and gentle, easy to be entreated, full of patience and long-suffering, being
temperate in all things, being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at
all times, asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and
temporal, always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do
receive.
It was a great week! Hope
everyone is surviving Utah's crazy bi-polar weather!
