Flæskesteg sandwiches = blessings

At the Copenhagen temple with ZL Redd
Howdy y'all! This week was not so thrilling, but we did have some new stuff that happened so I'll dive in.

This week went really fast and I had some good experiences, but we'll get the tough ones out of the way first. Sadly, Marie's baptism was postponed until a later date so hopefully that happens soon. We will see. I also had a lady over Facebook who was way willing to talk and discuss how religions need a new revival! Sounds too good to be true right? Well, it was. She found out I was a "Mormon," told me I needed Jesus, and blocked me. :( Her attitude changed way quick, but what can ya do?

This week I bought some sushi from a place similar to Smith's in Utah and it was way nice. I still love sushi. Corona didn't change that. We also had a "Nutella pizza" that was way fire with Nutella, strawberries and bananas. So nice. Since we are on the topic of food, I'll tell you about the sandwich I had from this little street vendor. It's called a flæskesteg sandwich and man, it is nice. Y'all gotta look that up when you get the chance. It's got rodkål (red cabbage) and søde agurk (sweet pickles) and that flæskesteg stuff on it. Big blessing right there.
The Nutella pizza that the elders were
so excited about. :)

I went on splits with ZL Redd and got to see Copenhagen again and that was cool and brought back some memories. I got to see the temple again and it was so peaceful and had tons of flowers. I love the temple. We also played some basketball at the church and I could still dunk. Way happy about that!  Didn't think I'd be able to, but I guess I can still jump a little bit.

We had our district meeting in person again and President Olsen was there. It was an awesome training by Ældste Jaursch on faith and belief. He killed it. Interviews with president after were pretty fun as well. We laugh a lot and get along well.

On Sunday, we were out for a walk with one of the newly baptized members here and we were walking behind this older man who we could tell was having a hard time staying up. He nearly fell over, so we ran up to him and asked if we could help. He, of course, said yes and went on about how it was his first time going out for a walk in 2 years by himself and he was 95. So, I jumped in there and became the man's crutch for about a fourth of a mile. Luckily, we were close to his house. Then he went on about how "tåbelig" (foolish) it was for him to go out by himself. I was happy to help and maybe be a small answer to his prayers. My challenge to y'all is, to be the answer to someone else's prayer even if you feel that God isn't answering yours.

That's Sweden (Helsingborg) behind Tate!
I got to see a new city called Helsingør today, it was awesome! I could see Sweden across the harbor and watch the ferries. Plus, they have a pretty sweet castle there too. I love this country!!

That's all this week folks.

Love from Kronborg Slot,
