This week was pretty normal... except we were on splits a couple times, which for me seems like a very, very normal thing considering I pack up and sleep in another apartment about twice a week these days lol. We were with Ældste Hintze and Ældste Neiderman in Roskilde and that was good fun. Nobody was feeling like talking to us, what's new? Hahah! Eventually we knocked on a door and a girl from the US opened up and talked to us about Utah because she lived there for a sec.. She spoke in perfect Danish with the accent and everything, and she had only lived here for 5 years... wild. She was the only nice person of the day lol. But we had a good time with them. We even snagged some funky looking, delicious Turkish pizzas.
We also went on splits with the tech elders. We tried to do lots of sports contacting by playing soccer and basketball on the streets of Copenhagen. It was lots of fun, but we didn't meet too many people who were interested. It must have been quite the sight seeing four dudes in white shirts, ties and name tags walking the ghettos of Copenhagen playing basketball. We met this cool guy named Nikolaj though. After all that we grabbed treats at a local supermarket and found habaneros and Carolina Reaper peppers on sale... So we had to try them. It's not every day where we can try two of the hottest peppers in the world. They burned my mouth for like 20 seconds, then my face went numb and my ears were tingling.. good times not to be forgotten hahaha.
We had a couple of eating appointments which were fun. We got to explore this city called Kalundborg which I really like the vibe of. It's a super pretty coastal town. And of course we ate lots of pastries because why not? You only live in Denmark once right?
I am doing well! Love and miss you all! See you guys in under 100 days! (I think. I don't actually know what the exact number is lol.)
Love from Kalundborg,
Ældste Modersitzki
